This aftermarket kit adds pendulum-style knuckle weights plus a 21mm hex adapter for Axial SCX10 chassis. The design focuses mass at the wheel outer face to give more consistent tyre contact and improved traction at crawling speeds.

The moving mass is supplied by stainless steel rolling beads that travel inside the pendulum housing, creating a variable ballast that shifts as the wheel rotates. The assembly installs on the outer wheel knuckle case (both front and rear outer halves) and aims to keep the extra mass low and centered near the wheel.

Specification notes state an adjustable bead stack of up to eight stainless beads, each 4g, producing an approximate per-wheel added mass of 44 to 64 grams when fully loaded. Stainless components help reduce corrosion risk for wet runs, and the 21mm hex adapter allows a wider hub spacing to suit broader wheel choices.

Fitment requirements should be checked prior to purchase: wheels must have a 45mm inner diameter and wheel thread holes sized 5mm. The part is shown as compatible with Axial SCX10, SCX10 II and selected Gmade models. Installation mounts to the outer knuckle cases and may require small clearance checks on wheels and hubs.

As a tuning option for scale crawlers, the kit lets you dial unsprung mass at each wheel; adjust bead count and confirm wheel ID and thread alignment for desired handling.
