This steering linkage is made for Axial SCX-10 chassis applications and comes in a silver anodized aluminum finish. Model ASCX10-22403-02-S replaces original plastic or distorted links to re-establish correct steering geometry in scale rock crawlers.
Fitting follows standard tie-rod replacement steps: remove the existing link, inspect rod ends and ball cups for wear, install the new aluminum link and secure to the correct thread engagement. Typical hand tools such as hex keys and small spanners are sufficient. After installation, check for interference with the servo horn and full suspension travel.
As an upgrade, the aluminum tie rod offers better dimensional stability and repeatable toe under load, which benefits consistent tracking during extended crawling sessions. Note that servo tuning and link length adjustments remain important for final handling.
