Overview and benefits

This 8 pcs upgrade replaces original front and rear driveline parts on AXIAL 1/24 SCX24 models. The set uses hardened steel #45 for greater wear life on scale vehicles, and each stub axle is extended by 5mm to widen track width for steadier crawling and better trail control. These parts are supplied for hobby RC use only.

The focus is on driveline durability and subtle tuning rather than changing suspension geometry. Upgraded front CVDs reduce binding during suspension articulation, the rear shafts keep torque consistent, and copper collars provide improved seating where stock collars loosen. In most cases the kit installs without chassis changes, but confirm clearance with the 5mm longer components fitted.

Will this work on a modified SCX24 chassis?

It is designed for stock SCX24 Deadbolt and listed Wrangler JLU models; if your chassis has aftermarket axles or widened hubs, double check fitment before installation.

How should I maintain the steel parts?

Keep joints clean and lightly lubricated with a suitable light oil or grease to minimise wear and prevent corrosion on hardened steel surfaces.

Are special tools required to fit the kit?

Standard hobby hand tools and basic pin punches are typically enough; no specialised machining is normally needed, but a press or vice can help with tight collars.
