Front and rear under-guards

This GPM aftermarket mount set is a stainless steel lower protector tailored for the AXIAL SCX24 Deadbolt scale crawler. It covers the underside faces of the front and rear gearbox housings to keep grit and tiny rocks out and to take light knocks during casual rock sections.

The hardware set includes the protector plates and the fasteners required for installation so no additional parts are needed: Gear Box Protector - 2pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x4 - 4pcs, Stainless Steel Button Head Screw 1.4x10 - 4pcs, install mount - 2pcs. All metal parts are stainless steel for corrosion resistance when exposed to air and moisture.

Mounting guidance: the plates mount close to the gearbox bottom at existing chassis points or via the supplied install mounts. Install with the included screws and use conservative torque settings on plastic housings to prevent stress. These guards are intended to reduce abrasion and direct rock strikes with minimal interference to suspension or ride height.

How do I fit the protectors?

Fit the plates to the chassis points using the supplied mounts and screws, ensuring the screws engage fully but are not overtightened into plastic components.
