22mm aluminium performance shocks for the 1/30 AXIAL SCX30

This shock set is a complete RC-scale replacement and tuning kit for AXIAL 1/30 SCX30 crawlers. The package supplies four CNC-machined aluminum shock bodies with 22mm outer diameter designed to accept multiple spring rates and standard SCX30 mounting. The assembly supports use with or without shock oil; due to the compact dimensions, using a dedicated small-volume filling tool is recommended for oiled setups.

Will these fit a factory SCX30 without modifications?

They are built to the SCX30 mounting standard and should fit stock AXIAL 1/30 SCX30 layouts. Confirm mount hole spacing and use supplied balls where needed.

How do I choose between the included springs?

Start with the pre-installed medium spring and test on your usual terrain. Swap to the soft or hard springs to adjust body roll and axle articulation depending on grip and obstacle size.

Is servicing difficult on these small shocks?

Service is straightforward but requires small tools. Disassemble carefully, replace O-rings if worn, and use a micro syringe for oil to avoid overfilling the small internal volume.

Can I run these without o-rings or oil?

O-rings are part of the damping seal and should be fitted for oiled setups. The shocks will function dry for reduced damping, but expect faster rebound and less controlled movement on rough terrain.
