6061-T6 aluminium link ball ends

This 20pcs aluminium ball end assembly is an aftermarket replacement for the Axial SCX6 scale crawler and is sold as SCX6162/BE. It replaces original plastic ball ends on steering and link bars with machined 6061 T6 aluminium rod ends suitable for hobby use.

Each rod end has opposing thread directions so adjustments can be made without disassembling the linkage. A small locating hole on each tie rod end allows precise length changes when using a thin driver or pin. The metal bodies help reduce wear and stabilise steering feedback on rough terrain.

Fitting advice: remove the factory plastic ends from the front steering tie rods, servo linkage and link bars, then adjust overall alignment by rotating the threaded bodies until the desired toe and link dimensions are achieved. The package does not include additional tools.
