This stainless steel center gearbox skid plate is tailored for the 1/6 4WD SCX6 JEEP JLU WRANGLER chassis. It mounts under the center gearbox to limit abrasion from sand and pebbles and to absorb low-speed impacts encountered on trail sections.

Stainless construction gives good resistance to rust and grit when running in wet or dusty conditions. The plate covers the lower gearbox face to keep loose debris away from gears and bearings, helping extend service intervals during outdoor driving.

Installation is simple: the protector locates to the gearbox underside and secures with the supplied flat head screws. Avoid over-torquing to protect threads in the chassis and confirm there is adequate clearance to suspension and driveline parts after fitting.
