145mm Aluminium Shock Upgrades for Crawlers

This front and rear damper set is intended for AXIAL SCX6 models and is supplied as two replacement shocks. Constructed from 6061 T6 aluminium, the sealed shock-absorb cap helps prevent oil leakage and keeps damping consistent during tight rock crawling and slow trail work.

Key revisions focus on durability and setup clarity: spring wire thickness moves from 2.1mm to 2.2mm for firmer support, the piston shaft is beefed up from 5.0mm to 7.0mm and polished to lower bending risk, and the adjustable top retainer lets you tailor preload and perceived spring stiffness without complex disassembly.

These shocks mount front or rear on compatible SCX6 axles, replacing the stock units while keeping the same top-retainer style adjustment. In practice they lower internal friction and take impact loads, helping the rig stay balanced on uneven rock gardens.
