Spiral tooth ring and pinion for SCX6

This aftermarket ring and pinion pair is built as a scale drivetrain replacement for the AXIAL SCX6 chassis. The components use hardened 20Cr carbon steel with a dark finish and spiral-cut helical teeth to improve load sharing and running smoothness compared with straight-cut originals. Module is 1.35 and gear sizes are 32T ring and 9T pinion, intended for the axle differential housing.

In use the gears pass motor torque through the diff to the axle outputs, and the spiral profile helps reduce noise and concentrated stress when mesh is dialled in correctly. The set represents a higher speed ratio compared with the factory 12/43T 1.0 mod set cited as AXI252007; confirm mechanical fit and mesh before committing to final build steps.

Fitment advice: verify pinion seating on the motor output or diff journal for the 1.35 module, set appropriate backlash, inspect bearings and diff shell for movement, and apply a suitable grease to the teeth. After a brief low-speed break-in re-check the mesh. This is for RC models only.
