Aluminium spur adapter matched to a 55-tooth steel gear

Model MJ1555T provides an aluminium spur gear adapter coupled with a 55T steel spur crafted for AXIAL SMT10 style vehicles. This aftermarket set replaces fragile stock components where increased durability and reliable gear engagement are wanted.

The kit includes the small mounting screws, lock nut, Pelrin collar and posts needed to fit the adapter and gear to the original assembly. Fitment generally uses the existing shaft spacing and mounting points so no chassis mods are required.

As an upgrade the steel 55-tooth spur stands up better to higher torque, while the alloy adapter reduces rotating weight and helps hold the gear concentric. Before running, confirm pinion mesh and check the gearbox and suspension clearance to prevent contact.

Install MJ1555T to extend spur life on SMT10-based rigs and to get a stiffer, more concentric interface between motor pinion and spur gear.
