This aluminium steering link is an aftermarket upgrade tailored for AXIAL SMT10 chassis, suitable for Wraith and SMT10 Monster Jam AX90055 owners. Sold as a 2pcs set, it swaps in for the original plastic link to reduce flex and sharpen steering input.
Design notes: metal ball ends are secured with a retention feature so they are less likely to drop out during handling or setup work, which helps preserve consistent steering alignment under heavy use. The upgrade concentrates on improving steering accuracy and tuning stability rather than changing chassis geometry.
Installation and tuning: the part mates with the SMT10 steering layout and uses existing linkage fasteners. After fitting, check toe and steering travel since a firmer metal link can alter feel; use common hex tools and re-centre the servo before final runs.
