Upper linkage in aluminium for the Wraith chassis

The AW-23005-GU aluminium upper linkage is made for Axial Wraith models and comes with a gunmetal finish. It is intended as a direct replacement for the Wraith upper link location while retaining the original mount interfaces so the stock suspension geometry remains intact.

Produced from machined aluminium, this link offers a stiffer anchor point than stock plastic links, helping the suspension resist deformation under load and allowing more consistent roll and camber behaviour when tuning other chassis settings. The gunmetal coating is decorative and does not affect how the part fits.

Fitment tips: mount the link to the factory upper attachment points on the Axial Wraith. Verify the condition of existing spacers and pins before reuse, replacing any worn hardware to maintain secure fitment. This component is for model chassis maintenance and tuning purposes only.

Use the AW-23005-GU when a stronger aluminium upper link is needed to keep stock fitment and refine suspension response.

Remove the existing upper link and install the AW-23005-GU at the same mounting points. Ensure pins engage fully and that spacers locate correctly to preserve alignment.
In many cases, stock pins and spacers can be reused. Check for wear or deformation and replace any compromised parts to avoid play in the link mounts.
Keep mounting holes and pins clean, and inspect the finish for nicks that could lead to corrosion over time. Light lubrication on pivot points can reduce wear.
The aluminium link stiffens the upper connection, which can tighten roll response and make camber changes more consistent; overall geometry remains as factory specified.
