Aluminium axle-end adapter tailored for WRAITH use

This straight aluminium axle adapter is an aftermarket replacement for Axial platforms and is supplied under part code WR022N. It is suited to scale RC applications where improved axle protection is required without major fit changes.

The design uses a straight transfer path to move loads into the axle housing and reduce concentrated stress on softer components. It makes for a straightforward durability upgrade or a repair option that preserves driveline geometry.

Installation notes: fit the adapter in place of the stock unit and check seating and preload after initial running. With any metal part, re-check fasteners after break-in and inspect adjacent seals and bearings for proper clearance.

Compatible Models

  • Axial Wraith
  • Yeti
  • RR10 Bomber

WR022N serves as a practical upgrade for Axial-based crawlers that need extra axle-end protection while keeping original driveline alignment intact.

The compatibility list includes Yeti; however, confirm the axle end geometry and mounting holes match your chassis before fitting.
Usually stock bearings remain usable, but check for rubbing or preload changes after installation and replace if clearance is compromised.
Avoid direct contact between dissimilar metals in wet environments; use compatible fasteners and inspect after exposure to moisture or salt conditions.
