This RC-scale steering tie rod is produced for the Axial Racing Yeti chassis and comes as a single pair. The design combines a spring steel centre rod with precision machined aluminium end fittings to reduce thread wear where the linkage meets ball joints and knuckles.

Made as an aftermarket replacement, the component emphasises longevity under the low-speed shock and abrasion typical of trail driving and rock crawling. It bridges the servo linkage and the steering assembly, influencing steering response and dependability rather than vehicle power.

Installation swaps in place of the stock steering rod using the chassis mounting points and steering hubs. No proprietary adaptors are required; the part is intended to use the same ball ends and mounting locations as the original Yeti tie rod. Measure your existing linkage length and ball-end spacing before fitting to ensure correct alignment and steering geometry.

For tuning, this item is primarily a durability upgrade. The spring steel shaft reduces the chance of thread stripping at the aluminium ends under repeated impacts, while the aluminium terminations give a firmer seating for ball ends compared with many factory plastic parts.
