This upgrade combines a spring steel anti-thread tie rod with an aluminium servo horn built for Axial Racing Yeti steering assemblies that use a 25T spline output shaft. The components serve as replacement or improvement parts for the steering linkage and servo output connection on Yeti-style rock racers.
Why fit it: the spring steel tie rod reduces the chance of stripped threads under repeated load, while the aluminium horn gives a more solid coupling to the servo spline. Together they help sustain steering geometry and reduce wear over time during hobby use, without promising measured performance changes.
Installation tips: the horn is sized for a 25T spline and replaces the factory horn at the servo output. The tie rod links the horn to steering knuckles or bellcranks depending on the chassis; basic tools and standard trimming adjustments are needed. Always check spline compatibility and clearance, then verify free steering motion before running at speed.
