Aftermarket aluminium steering rod

This aluminium steering assembly rod is an aftermarket replacement made for the Axial Yeti chassis and listed as YT049. Supplied as a single piece, it replaces the common plastic steering rod and gives a more rigid link for better steering control.

Use this part to swap out a damaged rod or to tighten up steering feel by reducing unwanted compliance in the linkage. Installation involves removing the original rod and attaching the aluminium rod to the existing linkage endpoints, confirming correct ball/socket seating and full travel through suspension articulation. The product is supplied as 1 pcs and intended for hobby RC use only.

Note on performance: this upgrade does not change your servo settings or electronics, but by reducing mechanical play it can make steering response more predictable during technical driving or fast lines.
