150mm machined aluminium shock for Yeti XL tuning

This front and rear adjustable damper is an aftermarket upgrade compatible with the Axial Yeti XL platform. The 150mm unit features a machined aluminium body and a 6mm steel shaft, aimed at hobbyists who want a more serviceable and stiffer option than stock shocks.

The design keeps standard Yeti XL mounting geometry and offers external adjustment for simple ride-height and damping changes. The aluminium construction improves stiffness and helps keep spring preload and damping settings stable across multiple runs.

Fitment advice: supplied as 1 pr, the damper accepts common Yeti XL pistons and seals so existing shock oils and springs can be used. Always measure shock length and confirm mounting post geometry prior to installation, and torque fasteners to appropriate values.

Very pleased with product and service. Thank you.
They are designed for Yeti XL fitment, but variations in aftermarket setups mean you should measure mounting spacing and overall shock length to ensure a direct swap.
The damper uses common Yeti XL-style pistons and seals, so replacement seals and pistons sized for Yeti XL shock bodies will generally work.
Use the shock oil weight that matches your intended damping; standard weights used on Yeti XL shocks are applicable because internal dimensions are preserved.
Wipe the shaft clean after dusty or wet runs and apply a light film of lubricant to prevent surface corrosion and reduce wear on seals.
