Yeti XL steering linkage upgrade

This set is an RC steering linkage and servo horn combination for use with Axial Racing Yeti XL vehicles. It pairs a spring steel anti-thread tie rod with an aluminium servo horn made for 25T spline output shafts, intended as a direct replacement or sturdier alternative to standard components.

Fitment relies on the vehicle's original mounting points and stock hardware, avoiding the need to modify the chassis. The tie rod connects steering knuckles or blocks, and the servo horn slips onto a 25T spline output to relay servo motion into the steering linkage. These parts change component durability rather than the underlying steering geometry.

A firmer tie rod and aluminium horn tend to reduce flex and perceived slop compared with softer stock items. When fitting, treat this as a like-for-like swap: confirm your servo spline, clearances with suspension parts, and check free movement through full lock before finalising fasteners.

The horn requires a 25T spline output; check your servo specification or compare the spline count visually before purchase.
The anti-thread spring steel design resists thread damage better than some soft stock rods, improving long term fitment when installed correctly.
Check horn alignment on the spline, confirm clearance at full steering lock, and perform a brief run to ensure no interference before final torqueing.
