Stiff aluminium steering rod for Yeti XL builds

This replacement steering rod is designed for use with the Axial Racing Yeti XL chassis and is supplied as a 1pr set. It combines an aluminium centre rod with plastic end fittings so you keep the stock joint mounting while adding a metal shaft that resists bending more than plastic-only links.

Favoured for trail and crawler rigs where steering predictability is important, the part installs using existing ball studs and linkage points; recheck steering trim and toe after installation to preserve correct geometry.

Fit as a hobby upgrade only, inspect ball joints and fastening hardware frequently, and replace the assembly if the plastic ends show wear to maintain consistent steering behaviour.
