Durable steering tie rod for Yeti XL

This replacement steering tie rod is made for the Axial Racing Yeti XL chassis and carries the reference AX31033, supplied as a 1 pr set. The centre shaft is spring-steel and both ends use plastic ball joints to permit articulation without metal-on-metal contact.

It links the steering assembly to the knuckles and provides a tunable connection for fine steering setup. The spring-steel core gives some flex and recovery under impact, reducing permanent deformation from routine off-road knocks.

Fitting is straightforward: swap the existing rod pair for this set, confirm ball-end seating and unrestricted joint movement, and recheck wheel alignment. Regularly inspect the plastic ball ends for deterioration and replace the pair when noticeable play develops.
