Overview of the 2.2 Hub Spacer

This aluminium hub spacer is an RC-scale accessory intended to alter wheel offset and improve clearance for 2.2" tyres on Axial-based rigs. The 14mm thickness provides a predictable offset when fitting wider tyres or correcting contact on narrow hex setups.

Installers should remove the wheel and hub, confirm hex and thread compatibility, fit the adapter to the hub assembly, then reinstall the wheel and tighten fasteners appropriately. It is a useful tuning item when changing wheel width or adjusting track width for handling balance.

Use this part only on compatible RC models and follow common maintenance practices such as checking thread condition, using a small amount of threadlocker when needed, and balancing wheels after fitment changes.

Will wheel balance be affected?

Any change to wheel position can alter balance; check and rebalance tyres if you notice vibration or handling changes after fitting.
