Upgrade bearings for consistent slides

This Yokomo D-148 bearing set fits assembled Drift Racer drift kits and replaces worn bushings or old bearings in wheel hubs and steering support mounts. Bearings reduce rotational friction and contribute to a smoother, more controllable slide during practice laps.

Fitting is a basic model workshop task: remove the hub and steering retainers, press the correct bearings into the bores, and reinstall the original fasteners. Only use a light metal-bearing grease if needed to control end float, and do not overtighten hub screws which can preload bearings and raise rolling resistance.

Setup tip: moving to full metal bearings like the D-148 decreases play in wheel rotation and refines steering return, improving the consistency of angle changes under throttle. Bearings affect how freely wheels spin and the feedback you feel, not suspension geometry or motor torque.
