B-MAX Front Suspension Spring

The Yokomo BM-S1295 front spring is built for big-bore X-shock assemblies fitted to a range of B-MAX off-road chassis. It acts as a direct replacement to alter or recover front suspension characteristics while leaving other shock hardware intact.

Fitment covers specific B-MAX chassis codes: B-MAX2MR2, B-MAX2MR3, B-MAX2RS, B-MAX43G and B-MAX43GF. Verify that your shocks are the big-bore X-shock style before ordering.

Installation: disassemble the shock following typical RC procedures, slide the spring onto the shaft, set collar preload to the desired level, then reassemble making sure the spring is seated straight. A clean bench and common RC tools are all that are needed.

Tuning effects: swapping to this spring changes front compliance and feedback, which can modify steering bite and weight transfer on jumps. Adjust damper oil and piston selection alongside spring changes to fine tune handling for loose or mixed surfaces.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The stiffer or softer spring rate alters front-end bite and turn-in; combine with damper oil tuning to find the desired steering response.
Often yes — matching piston and oil viscosity to the new spring rate helps control rebound and compression for balanced performance.
Start with preload and ride height, then tune oil viscosity and piston choice, and finally tweak sway and toe to dial in handling for the surface.
