S. blue rear spring compatible with B-MAX2 Ver.2

This rear shock spring is sized for the B-MAX2 big bore X-shock Ver.2 rear assembly and carries the S. blue finish noted in the product title. It serves as a direct replacement option for the rear X-shock.

Functionally the spring supplies preload and rebound control to the rear big bore damper and must be used together with the X-shock Ver.2 piston, shaft, and outer body. It is not supplied as a complete damper kit.

Fitting is typical of off-road shock work: detach the rear X-shock, remove the shock cap and spring retainer, transfer the spring onto the shock body, and reassemble using the existing internals and chosen preload setting. Ensure the spring sits properly on the retainer and that the shaft moves freely.

Setup tips: adjust this spring to fine tune rear ride height and initial response within the range supported by your current Ver.2 components, and verify collar and retainer compatibility before use. Avoid installing on non-compatible shock bodies.

Compatibility:

  • B-MAX2 big bore X-shock Ver.2 rear (B2-S1L?4, 600) supported chassis
  • B-MAX2MR2
  • B-MAX2MR3
  • B-MAX2RS
Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
The finish is applied for appearance; under normal off-road conditions it should hold up, but inspect for chips or wear after frequent servicing.
The spring itself does not accelerate wear if installed correctly; improper seating or misaligned retainers can cause premature wear on seals or shafts.
After running, recheck spring seating, preload, and confirm free shaft travel; also examine the spring for any deformation.
