BD9 2019 compact centre bulkhead short plate

This compact short plate joins the left and right sections of the centre bulkhead and secures them to the BD9 2019 main chassis. It replaces the longer item and reduces the number of fastening points to suit layouts requiring a smaller mounting area.

Use only with the listed chassis codes MRTC-BD919 and MRTC-BD919S; confirm your chassis identifier prior to fitting. The lowered screw count changes how the bulkhead mates to the chassis, so ensuring the correct chassis version maintains intended alignment and fit.

Fitting advice: place the plate between the two centre bulkhead halves, align the accessible screw holes, and fasten with the original hardware supplied with the BD9 2019 kit; avoid forcing screws into mismatched holes. The short design preserves the centreline connection while producing a subtly different stiffness profile compared with the longer plate, which can be considered when adjusting handling traits.
