Configure Futaba ESCs and gyro from your PC

The Futaba CIU_2 creates a direct USB link between a Windows PC and supported Futaba speed controllers and gyros for setup and parameter management. It is intended as an RC programming tool to view, change, and store settings for MC401CR, MC601 and MC850C speed controllers and the GY520 gyro.

Connection is uncomplicated: the CIU_2 includes a USB connector and a 19.7in extension lead so you can reach electronics in typical 1/10 - 1/8 scale cars. The interface draws standard USB bus power and works with Futaba configuration software on the compatible Windows releases listed below.

This accessory is for accessing configuration options rather than controlling motor output. Programmable items include variable frequency range, low battery cut thresholds, selectable current limiter modes, brake duty limits and neutral brake calibration. It also provides data log read and clear capabilities for diagnostics or recording changes.

System requirements: Windows Vista, Windows XP, or Windows 2000 on a PC with a free USB port. Ensure your chosen Futaba configuration application supports the listed OS before using the CIU_2.
