Seal Conditioning Grease for RC Dampers

The Yokomo C-1105A compound is made for scale RC oil dampers and their O-rings, offering a sticky lubricant that helps stabilise seals during build and service. When applied sparingly to the O-ring lip, the grease reduces absorption of silicone damping oil, helping to keep seal dimensions consistent and preserving fit over repeated servicing.

Its adhesive character makes it useful beyond seals: it can be used for light seal conditioning, easing sliding plastic contacts, and temporarily holding small components while you set up. Avoid overapplication to prevent dirt pickup; remove surplus grease from visible surfaces after fitting.

Installation notes: spread a thin, uniform layer onto the O-ring before seating it on the damper shaft or cap, then assemble in the usual way. During tuning, only reapply after cleaning or replacing seals to keep damping behaviour stable.
