This plastic assembly kit, at 1/12 scale, recreates the D'Antin Pramac Ducati GP4 with attention to the truss-frame V4 silhouette and period race detailing, aimed at model enthusiasts and collectors.
Historically, the D'Antin Pramac Ducati ran Ducati Desmosedici-based machinery in the mid 2000s. During the 2005 season the team ran a GP4-derived Desmosedici, fitted with Dunlop wheels and a red-and-black livery that featured hibiscus motifs on the cowling. Roberto Rolfo rode the No.44 bike that year while the team functioned as a satellite support entry in Ducati's racing operation.
The kit faithfully captures the GP4-style truss-frame and V4 engine layout typical of the Desmosedici family. It includes new moulded parts to replicate NISSIN brake calipers and synthetic rubber tyres printed with Dunlop markings for authenticity. The side and seat covers are modelled to be removable to reveal engine detail, and a high-grade decal sheet is included for the liveries and race numbers.
Construction follows customary multi-part assembly procedures for 1/12 motorcycle kits. Ensuring correct frame alignment and precise brake component fit will improve the finished look; decal setting fluids and meticulous masking during two-tone painting will help achieve an accurate result. The supplied tyres are soft synthetic rubber to mirror slick tyre appearance in miniature.
An accurate 1/12 scale kit that replicates the GP4 truss-frame and period livery, offering both display appeal and component-level detail for experienced builders.
