Slim servo bracket tailored for DIB layouts

The Yokomo YOKIB203A is a blue-finished aluminium low-profile servo mount built to sit lower on DIB-pattern chassis. It serves as a scale-oriented bracket that reduces the vertical profile of a standard-sized servo where deck clearance is limited, prioritising a compact footprint and secure attachment.

Installation on a DIB-pattern chassis involves lining up the bracket with the tray mounting holes, fastening the servo to the mount, and then securing the combined unit to the chassis. Functionally it is a mechanical spacer and support that helps avoid interference between the servo casing and nearby parts while allowing the servo to be positioned marginally lower.

In tuning scenarios, this mount is handy for resolving body clearance issues or when drivetrain parts constrain servo placement. It does not alter servo internal performance; benefits relate to clearance management and a modest lowering of mass within the chassis.

The mount has a protective coloured metal finish; avoid abrasive cleaners and inspect periodically for wear. The finish is decorative and offers basic corrosion resistance under normal use.
The machined aluminium provides good stiffness for typical servo loads; it is intended as a rigid mounting bracket rather than a flexible component, so deformation under normal conditions should be minimal.
Mild detergents and gentle wiping are recommended. Strong solvents or aggressive abrasives can damage the surface finish, so use caution when cleaning.
Yes. Check fastener tightness and the mount-to-chassis interface periodically to maintain secure attachment and to catch any contact issues early.
