TYPE-C Molded Towers Overview

The Yokomo SD-017CA is supplied as a matched pair of molded front and rear shock towers created for drift-oriented RC chassis projects. It is intended as an aftermarket replacement for factory towers on chassis that accept the DP-DP7C mounting layout, and it features molded plastic construction for routine track use.

These towers provide the upper mounting points for suspension links and shock tops; replacing them changes roll center and camber response, enabling incremental tuning for increased rotation or improved grip. Fitting is carried out with the included screws and washers, and alignment should be checked during assembly.
