The D-129 is a machined aluminum centre link created for DPM/DPR steering configurations, supplied under Yokomo part D-129 and intended as an RC-scale replacement for compatible DP-series vehicles. It delivers a solid connection point in the centre steering linkage to help maintain alignment and resist deformation under load.
Use of this component is limited to the supported chassis below, and it is designed so the stock centre link can be swapped without modifying adjacent parts. When fitting, ensure the new link mirrors the original orientation and that the steering linkage has full, free travel to prevent binding that would affect handling.
From a tuning viewpoint the centre link affects steering geometry and driver feedback; upgrading to a stiffer, precision-machined link helps keep steering inputs accurate and reduces unwanted movement during tight cornering or quick inputs on 1/10-scale electric touring tracks. Verify steering alignment and adjust servo endpoints after installation to secure proper travel and centring.
