Durable aluminum mount built for drift use

The SD-304L from Yokomo is an aluminum motor mount produced for the Drift Master platform at RC scale. It replaces softer composite mounting points with a firmer metal surface to resist deformation and deliver consistent motor positioning for repeatable performance.

Rather than adding extra fittings not found on the stock Drift Master layout, this mount focuses on solid clamping and repeatable alignment. Its purpose is practical: secure the motor in a fixed location, make micro adjustments easier, and cut drivetrain play that can change gear mesh under load.

Installation notes: the piece is made to interface with the existing motor mounting area on the Drift Master chassis. During fitting, confirm spur and pinion alignment, ensure the drivetrain is free from binding, and secure fasteners without over-tightening. Periodic checks after running will spot any loosening or wear early.
