The Yokomo D-025 is an aluminum front damper stay produced for DRIFT PACKAGE series RC cars and serves as a direct replacement for the stock front shock tower on scale drift machines. By allowing more precise damper mount placement and adding torsional resistance, the tower cuts down on unwanted movement so the dampers perform more uniformly during lateral stress.

This aftermarket piece is supplied to both improve the front appearance and support tuning changes: it locks in front damper geometry and creates a steadier platform when shifting shock positions for varied drift tune options. Aluminum provides higher torsional rigidity than many stock plastic towers, so it resists bending and repeated flexing more effectively, helping the shock geometry remain stable over time.
Inspect mounting points and fasteners after heavy runs to ensure nothing has loosened. Clean contact surfaces and re-torque bolts to the values recommended in your chassis documentation.
A stiffer tower changes how loads transmit through the front end; while it improves positional stability, in severe impacts the force paths differ from the stock part, so inspect other suspension components after a heavy hit.
