The Yokomo D-106 SSG rear shock tower is produced as an RC replacement part for Drift Package series chassis and the Imadoki conversion. It secures the rear shocks and helps establish suspension geometry so builders can tune handling for drifting without implying any full-size application.

The primary function of this tower is to provide mounting positions and clearance for rear shocks used in drift setups, allowing fine adjustment of shock angle and track width relationships that influence rear behaviour during slides. Installation uses the standard rear shock tower mounting points on the listed Drift Package chassis, and recommended tuning is achieved by changing shock positions, adding spacers, or adjusting link geometry on the chassis rather than altering the tower itself.
