DT-03 alloy differential coupling

This aluminium differential joint is manufactured by GPM for use with the Tamiya DT-03 chassis and is supplied as 1 pr in the product name. It replaces softer plastic or low-grade metal couplers and is intended to give a firmer connection between the diff output and drive shafts while preserving the chassis geometry.

Fitment tips: the joint installs in the same position as the original DT-03 couplers. During assembly confirm spline alignment and secure fastening. No other drivetrain components normally need modification for a straight swap, but recheck fasteners after the first outing.

Performance note: fitting an aluminium joint improves coupling stiffness and helps deliver steadier drivetrain feedback, especially under sustained or higher load conditions. Consider this part alongside tyre and suspension choices when refining handling.

No machining is typically required; the part is a direct replacement designed for DT-03 fitment. Verify spline and shaft match before final tightening.
Inspect for play or unusual wear after initial use and then at regular service intervals. Clean and check fasteners as part of routine maintenance.
The joint increases driveline stiffness, which can make power delivery more consistent; tyre choice and suspension still have the biggest effect on traction.
