7075-T6 CNC Shock Tower for DT-04

This precision 7075-T6 alloy shock tower is an aftermarket replacement made for DT-04 scale models. Multiple mounting holes let you move shock positions and adjust the shock angle without changing the shock bodies, giving consistent fitment for 1/10 DT-04 suspension tuning.

Fitting is a routine hobby task: remove the original tower, transfer any necessary spacers or hardware, and secure the alloy tower using the factory mounting points and appropriate hex screws. Check thread engagement and tighten carefully to avoid damaging the aluminium threads, and make sure the shock shafts clear through full travel.

During setup sessions, altering the tower hole selection changes effective leverage and shock angle, which influences rebound and compression response. Make small adjustments, note the handling changes, and compare runs to find the desired behaviour.

The alloy construction offers higher tensile strength than typical plastic towers, improving consistency under load while keeping weight reasonable for handling performance.
Minor position changes usually work with existing shocks, but verify piston travel and preload. If shocks bind at full droop or bottom out you may need different shafts or spacers.
Use a small amount of appropriate thread locker where needed, torque to a controlled value, and avoid overtightening aluminium threads to maintain long term fitment.
