The RC push rod cover carries the YS Engine YSF2041 designation and functions as a replacement component for DZ140 engine assemblies. It is intended to protect the push rod area while preserving correct alignment in the push rod assembly on DZ140-compatible units.
Installation is intended to be simple: the part locates over the push rod end and secures to the engine's existing mounting points. Before final tightening, check that the cover seats correctly and that the push rod moves freely across its full travel. Custom installations may require small adjustments to adjacent shrouds, but standard DZ140 engines generally need no additional modifications.
During routine servicing the cover helps keep debris away from the push rod joint and maintains consistent indexing for valve timing checks, making repeat adjustments and inspections faster and more reliable.
