The YS Engine YSF2187 pump insulator is made for RC DZ140-series engines to separate the pump body from the mounting surface. Its role is to limit vibration transfer into the pump mounting, which can reduce wear and maintain smoother fuel flow under dynamic running conditions.

Fitting the insulator is a simple maintenance task: remove the pump fasteners, place the insulator between the pump flange and engine mount, then refit and secure the screws to the correct torque. Keep the work area clean to prevent any fuel system contamination while handling the part.

During tuning sessions the insulator helps preserve consistent pump behaviour but does not alter engine power; it supports repeatable needle position adjustments by reducing vibration-related fluctuation in fuel feed.
