This 1/12 scale plastic assembly kit reproduces the 2009 YZR-M1 Fiat Yamaha Team Estoril special livery, aimed at modellers and collectors who value authentic display pieces.
The YZR-M1 campaigned by the Fiat Yamaha Team in 2009 represented Yamaha's four-cylinder prototype development through that season. During the Portuguese Grand Prix at Estoril in 2009 the team carried special Fiat liveries connected to the Punto Evo promotion. Riders that event included Valentino Rossi and Jorge Lorenzo, and Lorenzo won the race.
The kit prioritises external accuracy and presentation. Major body panels, frame layout, and visible suspension detail from the 2009 machine are captured in the injection-moulded parts. Solid synthetic rubber is used for front and rear slick tyres, and Cartograf decals are supplied for both No.46 and No.99 schemes. Masking stickers are included to simplify painting of bodywork, and vinyl tubing models throttle, clutch, and brake lines. Selected cowling points use small screws to permit removal after assembly, and the fuel tank fairing is also made to be detachable. A tank pad sheet and a display racing stand are included. Builders should note compatibility with a separately available rider figure (Item 14118) and an optional front fork set (Item 16363) for those wanting extra detail.
A precise external replica kit focused on livery authenticity and display-ready assembly for experienced modellers.
