This is an alloy rear upper suspension link for the TAMIYA CC-02 chassis, sold under the part number JR-CC208-LB.
As a direct-replacement hop-up at the rear upper link position, the aluminum arm stiffens the mounting point compared with common plastic pieces, reducing pivot deflection during cornering and load transitions. It is compatible with standard CC-02 chassis mounting holes and factory-style link balls and posts.
Fitting is quick: remove the original upper link, move over any pivot balls and fasteners, then install the aluminium unit at the same attachment points. After fitting, run the suspension through the full range of motion to ensure free travel and to set the preferred roll center and toe influences.
When tuning the chassis, use matched metal links and uprights to retain expected geometry. This part is useful for drivers seeking a more predictable rear-end and steadier toe behavior on uneven terrain or during faster sections where plastic components may bend.
