This item is the aluminum lower half of the front gear box made for TAMIYA TA01, TA02 and DF01 RC chassis, finished in light blue anodize. As a direct replacement for the factory plastic lower case, the aluminum unit raises casing stiffness and gives more consistent front driveline behavior for tuning and circuit use.

Installation is a direct swap and involves basic removal of the front gear assembly. Fit using suitable hex drivers and preserve the existing gear alignment and bearing placement when mounting the aluminum lower shell. The product is for model-scale RC use only.

In practice the stiffer lower half reduces flex under load and creates a stable mounting platform for drivetrain components, which can make suspension and gear mesh adjustments more repeatable without modifying gear ratios or motor parts.
