Built as an aftermarket hop-up for YIKONG YK7081 TB8 machines, this steering knuckle uses 7075-T6 aluminum to increase load resistance at steering pivots while keeping mass low. It replaces factory part number 80004 and is aimed at hobbyists wanting improved bearing longevity and crisper steering feel.
The supplied hardware ups the inner bearing to 20x30x7mm from the original 20x27x4mm and the outer bearing to 15x24x5mm from 15x21x4mm. By enlarging contact surfaces, these bearings reduce localized stress and help the steering components last longer under repeated impacts without altering the core chassis layout.
Mounting hardware is included and parts come pre-assembled where practical. Use medium-strength threadlocker on screws during installation and adhere to recommended torque for M3 fasteners to prevent thread damage in aluminum parts.
Designed for TB8-series YIKONG kits, the knuckle prioritises bearing life and dependable steering response while remaining straightforward to fit during routine maintenance or upgrades.
