These aluminum front C-hubs are built as a direct replacement for the Optima 2016 front hub carriers. As a machined metal component they reduce flex compared with stock plastic parts and provide a stable mounting surface for the steering knuckle and wheel hub assembly.
Fitting is straightforward: remove the OEM carriers, move across bearings and any spacer inserts, then secure the aluminum hubs with the vehicle's original mounting hardware. Basic hex drivers and workshop tools for 1/10 scale cars are all that are required.
From a durability viewpoint, machined C-hubs resist deformation and deliver consistent steering geometry under load, making them useful for drivers who need repeatable handling and longer-lived suspension components.
