Front chassis tie for YD-2/EX1/PLS models

This aluminium front bulk head brace is made for RC YD-2 variants and is intended to tweak chassis characteristics without overhauling the chassis layout. By tying the front bulkhead to the upper deck the brace removes the need for the standard front bulkhead bridge and alters roll resistance while preserving fore-aft stiffness.

On track this tends to lower roll stiffness but keep pitch rigidity, which can translate to better grip in corners and a steadier steering response. The part is aimed at hobbyists adjusting balance on drift and on-road YD-2 derivatives seeking subtle handling changes.

Installation takes place at the junction of the front bulkhead and upper deck; the product replaces the function of the front bulkhead bridge rather than adding external mounts. This is an RC chassis component only.

Basic hobby tools are usually sufficient; the brace uses the front bulkhead and upper deck mounting points on the listed DP-YD2 variants and does not require specialist equipment for standard installation.
Yes. The brace primarily reduces lateral roll stiffness which can move the handling balance toward increased cornering grip and a more predictable entry; effects will depend on setup and tyres.
Aluminium provides a stiff but light option that suits chassis tuning goals by altering stiffness without a significant weight penalty, making it a common material for this type of upgrade.
