Machined Front Dogbone for Smooth Drive

This 80mm front central dogbone is produced for the GTXE 2027 platform as a high-precision replacement part. Machined from Hudy Spring Steel and heat treated for wear resistance, the shaft is lightened where possible but retains the required strength for standard touring car loads.

Each unit is hand-ground and measured individually to maintain tight tolerances and consistent runout. HUDY special hardened pins are used to secure the assembly and help ensure reliable service life when used normally.

Lower rotating mass and accurate geometry can reduce front driveline inertia, which may change throttle response and handling feel. When fitting, check pin seating, ensure there is adequate clearance to steering and suspension, and verify equal front shaft lengths to avoid binding issues.
