Overview of the X4F front fixed shock holder

The XRAY 301977 front shock holder is an aluminium upgrade part created to change shock geometry on the X4F front end, lifting the shock mounting point by +1mm to increase suspension travel margin.

Three flex-adjustable mounting positions are provided and thin shims allow for fine increments in shock angle, enabling experimentation with front compliance without altering major suspension components.

Produced from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, the two-piece set is intended for durability across multiple setup sessions. The package includes 2 pcs for both sides of the X4F front assembly.

Yes, the holder is machined from Swiss 7075 T6 aluminium, chosen for its high strength and fatigue resistance compared with standard aluminium alloys.
The material and machining are intended to withstand repeated fitment and adjustment; however, inspect mounting points and fasteners regularly for wear or loosening after heavy use.
While robust for track use, severe impacts can still deform aluminium parts. The 7075 alloy offers improved resistance, but regular inspection after incidents is recommended.
With proper installation and routine checks, holders made from Swiss 7075 T6 provide long service life for typical racing and practice conditions, remaining reliable over many setup cycles.
