This front suspension link-rod is an RC-scale replacement part specified for the KC10 chassis, designed to restore and maintain the proper connection between steering knuckles and the suspension mounts.
Its function is simple but important: it joins the steering and suspension pivots, affects toe and roll centre characteristics, and serves as an adjustable anchor for alignment during setup. Use it when worn linkages degrade steering feel or when front geometry needs fine-tuning for handling differences.
Installation notes: detach the old link from the KC10 front assembly, carry over any ball cups or rod ends if compatible, then fit the new link ensuring correct engagement of threads and secure fasteners. Check steering travel and suspension movement after fitting before operating the model.
Tuning role: small changes in link length or end position will change toe settings and initial steering reaction. Adjust incrementally and trial on a prepared surface to judge handling changes accurately.
