Front shock spring for off-road models

The Yokomo YOKRP-083G front spring is manufactured as a coil element for off-road front shock assemblies. The green color helps you sort springs by rate at a glance and positions this part as a straightforward replacement or tuning choice for front shocks used in off-road RC vehicles.

Fitting is simple if you are used to oil shocks: prise off the shock cap and remove the spring retainer, swap springs while keeping the same preload and spacing, then rebuild and check stroke and end-stop limits. Follow normal shock service procedures when changing springs to protect seals and keep oil free from contamination.

When tuning, springs set core stiffness and initial reaction. Harder springs increase roll stiffness and initial ride height; softer springs improve compliance on uneven terrain.
