Designed for Front Dampers

This component is an RC-scale front shock body intended as a replacement or spare for front damper assemblies used on off-road vehicles. It functions as the casing for internal shock parts and determines the oil volume and available travel in the front suspension.

Fitting the unit follows standard damper procedures: remove the shock oil, extract the shock shaft and internals, slide out the old body, and fit the YS-4S-8 body prior to rebuilding. Ensure seals sit correctly and the shaft runs true when you reassemble to minimize leaks and friction.

From a tuning perspective the body changes effective oil volume and maximum stroke, so swapping it will change damping response. Use compatible pistons, springs and oils to fine tune front-end performance across different surfaces.
