Front hub carrier technical summary

The Yokomo YOKB2-413 front steering hub carrier is supplied for use on the B-Max 2 chassis and provides the mounting for the front knuckle and steering links. Its role is central to steering geometry and handling feedback during driving.

Fitment is specific to the B-Max 2 platform as shown in the product title; do not assume interchangeability with other Yokomo chassis or aftermarket frames without verification. This component is intended as a direct replacement to restore expected front-end geometry and performance.

Installation is routine for those experienced with 1/10 touring car maintenance: remove the wheel and knuckle assembly, transfer bearings and spacers exactly as removed, install the new carrier and reassemble. Make sure fasteners are secure and that bearings spin freely before track use.

In service the hub carrier contributes to steering feel and scrub radius interactions along with wheel offset, suspension tune, and link geometry. Regular inspection after impacts will help catch deformation or wear that can alter handling.

Remark :
Due to limited stock availability, please notice that some Yokomo items may have to order from the factory and the ready time is around 4-6 weeks. Customer purchases the item is assumed to accept the waiting time which allows us to order directly from the manufacturer if the item is out of our warehouse.
Lifespan depends on driving style and impacts. Inspect for cracks, bearing seat wear, and mounting integrity after heavy use or crashes.
Minor cosmetic damage may be tolerable, but structural deformation or cracked bearing seats usually require replacement to maintain safe steering geometry.
Check bearing fit, mounting screws, and that there is no play in the knuckle interface. Replace bearings or hardware if looseness or rough rotation is detected.
